No. JobAnvil reads your personal inbox locally. No outgoing traffic to your employer's network, no LinkedIn "open to work" badge, no third-party tracker. The only outbound calls are to the AI provider when generating a packet — and you can route those through your own API key.

Only the minimum required text to generate a packet is sent to the AI provider — and only at the moment of generation. Your inbox, full resume history, and match data never leave your machine. BYOK users keep the AI traffic on their own keys.

Download, install, run. Your 7-day full-access trial starts at first pipeline run — not at install — so you get a real week of use, not seven calendar days of setup time. No card needed. After the trial, the app drops to the Free (BYOK) tier and keeps working. Subscribe any time you want the AI back.

Tokens are the units of AI work — roughly one word of generated text per token. A single tailored resume + cover letter uses ~3,000 tokens. Spark's weekly cap (125,000 tokens) covers ~40 tailored packets per week. Crucible's monthly cap (500,000 tokens) covers ~165. Astroloy's pooled 6-month cap (3,000,000 tokens) covers ~1,000. Most paid users use 20–30% of their cap in a typical week — the caps exist to prevent abuse, not throttle active job seekers.

Windows-only today. macOS is on the roadmap but not yet in development. Linux is not planned.
